Eric Alterman, famed left-wing columnist, recently made the following observation in "The Nation" magazine http://www.thenation.com/doc.mhtml?i=20050328&s=alterman

"Just ask Jerry Falwell if it’s possible to like Israel and still claim all Jews are going to hell."

It seems that many Christians (and Muslims and some Jews) feel the need to declare themselves superior to other monotheistic faiths, sentencing others to their "eternity in hell" as punishment for not sharing their views.

The Bible gives a much different perspective:

Solomon’s Temple had no outer court for the Gentiles who wished to worship the El of the Israelites but had not yet prostelyzed – these Gentiles were called “ger tzadek”, or righteous strangers (goy) such as Cornelius in Acts chapter ten.  Zerubabel’s Temple had a small outer court, when rebuilt by Herod, it had a much larger outer court.

There is no “outer court” in the new Temple, as there was no outer court in the Tent of Meeting – the entire world is the outer court; Y’shua becomes the King of Kings, hence the entire world now becomes Israel.

Matt 22:11, “And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”

No church structure will replace the original Bride taken at Mount Sinai, comprised of the Israelites at the time of Moses.  You can only be a natural branch or be “grafted in” (Romans 11:17-18).  There has never been any form of separate judgment between Jews and Gentiles, nor changes in the set of rules since the earth was created, and neither will there be when New Jerusalem appears upon the creation of the new heavens and earth.  How can I say that?  Psalm 119:153-160, Hebrews 13:7-8, Rev 18:4 and:

John 14:21, “He that has My Torah, and keeps them, it is he that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, AND I WILL REVEAL MYSELF TO HIM.”

Y’shua will reveal Himself only to His Bride, NOT TO ALL SAVED.  The Bride is an elect group that keeps the Laws of Moses, the Feast Days and the other “old” covenant instructions that Christianity sees as “legalistic” Jewish requirements. The foolish bridesmaids remain bridesmaids (Matt 25), but are not allowed into the gate.

Ezekiel 34:11-20, “For thus saith the Adon YHWH; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.  I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.  I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith Adon YHWH.

I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

 And as for you, O my flock, thus saith Adon YHWH; Behold, I judge [YOU] between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?

And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.

 Therefore thus saith Adon YHWH unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.”

Separating cattle from cattle, rams and goats, but still of the flock of YHWH… Even the ones who tread down the pastures remain in the flock.  I see the distinct possibility that there are three groups of animals here, the ones to lay down in the pastures (Torah observant), the ones that are still of His flock but unruly (Antitorah Christianity), and the ones that aren’t of His flock who are destroyed (the fat ones).

 Seems vague so far?

Lev 21:10, “And the priest who is the highest among his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil has been poured, and who has been consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor tear his clothes;

 11 nor shall he approach any dead person, nor defile himself even for his father or his mother;

 12 nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his El; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his El is on him: I am YHWH.

 13 ‘And he shall take a wife in her virginity.

14 ‘A widow, or a divorced woman, or one who is profaned by harlotry, these he may not take; but rather he is to marry a virgin of his own people;

 15 that he may not profane his offspring among his people: for I am YHWH who sanctifies him.’”

Y’shua must take a virgin bride.  None other.  The Law speaks.

2 Corinthians 11:1, “I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness; but indeed you are bearing with me.

 2 For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, that to Mashiach I might present you as a pure virgin.

 3 But I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity to Mashiach.

 4 For if one comes and preaches another Y’shua whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully.”

The Bride singing the new song:

Rev 14:3-5,  And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto YHWH and to the Lamb.  And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of YHWH.

Why the 144,000?  Because they are the ONLY ONES who FOLLOW THE HUSBAND WHEREEVER HE GOES.  This is the trait of a Bride.  Children don’t follow the husband, they grow up and leave home.  Neither do church members – – some leave and come back, some join other churches, others get baptized and never return.  Any CHURCH can’t possibly be the BRIDE!!!  No “church” or institution has been chosen to be the Bride of Messiah!  Again, the Bride is NOT ALL WHO ARE SAVED. This is the difference between predestination (of the Bride) and the free will to accept salvation.

There is no “Gentile” gate mentioned in the Book of Revelation.  Where will you go?

Now you think only 144,000 will be saved?  Not so, read the next entry.
